Today, we have Tasha White, Director of a new Non-profit organization called My Walk with MG located in St. Louis, MO. The purpose for her organization is to connect on an emotional level with other Myasthenia Gravis patients and their concerns. She started this organization during a Myasthenic crisis and after having a conversation with an ER nurse. She noticed little knowledge many had on MG nor was anything local in her city/area to provide information on Myasthenia Gravis, what it is, or just basically connecting with people like her. Tasha has fought Myasthenia Gravis since the age of 6 and now at 33, her goal is to bring awareness not only to her city but Nationwide. She wants other patients fighting Myasthenia Gravis to know it's ok to live their lives and that they're not alone. Take those trips you've always wanted to go on or hang out with friends and family on the weekend. Make those little adjustments, rest, and go out and enjoy life. Speak life into yourself! Positive thoughts go a long way! So stay tuned and follow her on all social media platforms for updates, to ask questions, receive encouraging words, get many laughs, and for upcoming events.
